Simarjeet Singh on Pressure in Cricket
In a recent statement, Simarjeet Singh, a bowler for the Central Delhi Kings in the Delhi Premier League (DPL), expressed that he feels no significant difference in pressure when playing in the DPL compared to the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Currently competing in the 2025 DPL season, Simarjeet has taken 10 wickets across six matches, boasting an impressive average of 20.60.
During an interview, he remarked, "Pressure is the same whether you are playing here or in the IPL. When you enjoy the game, pressure fades away. Enjoying cricket brings out your competitive spirit."
The Central Delhi Kings are performing well this season, sitting in second place with five victories out of six matches.
Yash Dhull, a right-handed batsman, shared his thoughts on the team's aspirations, stating, "Our aim is to secure a win against the New Delhi Tigers in the upcoming match to qualify for the playoffs. Our team is strong, and I believe we will win."
Dhull has made a remarkable contribution with 364 runs in six matches, averaging 121.33 and achieving a strike rate of 172.51, including two fifties and two centuries.
Reflecting on his batting, he noted, "I've made a few adjustments but nothing drastic. I focus on staying present and calm while enjoying the game."
